They don’t call Sabine Schmitz, the Queen of the Ring, for no reason. Watch her at a recent VLN race. She says that between races and her ‘RingTaxi duties, she does about 1200 laps of the famous 13 mile track a year.
Watching this video, I’d believe that for sure.
It’s a rainy day. I had some time on Youtube, and what I find? Jeremy Clarkson going to Japan to check out the touge, Wangan and a drift event. I knew I liked that Clarkson bloke. 😉
I’d never though that I’d see a video with Jeremy Clarkson and Keiichi Tsuchiya at the same time. This was “Old Top Gear”, but it’s still worth a look, if you have a few minutes for a fun little video throwback.
This car is a legend among 1980s sports cars and needs little introduction. As a high school lad, I dreamed of having a 944 as my “do it all” sports utility car. The space offered by the hatch would allow me to carry anything I might ever own, and the Porsche pedigree would allow me to satisfy my hooning needs on curvy back roads. What more could one ask of a car?

I’m not going to lie. Although I have my own personal reservations on whether I’m ok with RWB becoming an international brand, it is pretty thrilling to watch people enjoy Nakai-san’s creation world-wide.
As always, RWB is looking beautiful. No matter where it is in the world.
Cars are a part of our life. They get in our blood, and you can never get them out. This trailer reminds me of the ‘Depth of Speed’ video that Bret uncovered last week. It’s inspiring to see someone who has such a depth of passion of a particular brand of automobile lifestyle.

This is a video from the Pirelli-Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car by Dörr Motorsport during 24h Nürburgring 2012. The team finished on 20th overall position. The driver onboard is Niclas Kentenich.
From the beginning of time, I’ve been a fan of Raul-Welt Porsches. I’ve already done some posts on why I respect Nakai-san, and his desire to build his version of the perfect car. I just noticed that I had a lot of photos of Raul-Welt Porsches saved on my drive, and I decided that I wanted to share them with you.
