I was planning on writing another driving-technique post earlier today, but I got frustrated during the brainstorming phase. Instead, I’ve fallen back to a personal favorite weekend activity by watching (‘classic/nostalgic/early 2000-era?’) feeder series races.
One of the reasons that I enjoy this, is because YouTube actually allows people to upload these races so I can see them. Proof that it can happen! Happened to Valsecchi this weekend
Why have I not posted this video earlier? I’ve always said that Lewis’ GP2 driving was always more amazing than his F1 career. Look and tell me what you think about it.
Romain Grosjean becomes GP2 Champion!

Some questioned his ability in 2009, but remember in each race in 2009 where his team-mate was twice Formula One World Champion, Fernando Alonso; Romain managed to qualify within 0.5 seconds of Fernando, and for a rookie, that’s not bad.
I wish I could have followed Hamilton more during his rise through
the junior categories. Watching his driving, it looks more positive and full of
Also the GP2 commentators are just awesome to listen to here.
I’ve read that Jules Bianchi is testing for Ferrari in September. If he’s been driving this way for his entire GP2 career, the Scuderia will pick up an amazing talent.
